After Tyler's first 2 days of school we left for our amazing hawaii trip.

The view from our room. Literally paradise!

Other view from our place. We played sand volleyball everyday for at least a couple of hours. It is one of the things that I definitely miss about our trip.

View at night

Our first site seeing... the blow hole. It is a nice long and steep walk down. But it is tradition and a fun site to see.

Half way down we found a great background picture.

All the Bladh kids, except Brett on his mission :(, looking into the blow hole. Just minutes before Josh was looking in by himself and got completely soaked.

Us girls decided to stay far enough away from it and just observe.

Friday we spent the day playing volleyball and visiting one of Napiili's resort beaches. I actually went in the water because it was so warm and clear. Elle loved going in and wasn't scared at all.

When she wasn't in the water she played in the sand. Elle is a major sensory learner. So she can sit in it all day long.

Tyler and Benj found this stick and Tyler became obsessed with it.

Saturday night out at Bubba Gumps for dessert. We had way too much to eat. The night before we knew Elle had infections. Look at her, poor thing.

Tradition has us hear at Iao Valley every Sunday after church. It is a calm, peaceful place, but is known for a big bloody battle that took place there. It was one of the wars that led to the islands becoming one.

Those Bladh boys! Gotta love 'em.

Our family overlooking the Iao valley river.

She had bad ear infections and she is still smiling.

The famous swinging vines outside of Iao Valley

Tyler loved the vines. We have a picture of him 2 years ago swinging from the same vines.

Usually Elle wants Juli all the time, but on this trip she couldn't get enough of Lisa. She would do anything to be around her. If she heard her voice she would go running to find her. Lisa was her mom on this trip for sure.

Big Beach... One of the best beaches as far as beauty goes. The water is so clear and warm and the sand is definitely a color you don't see in California and your feet just sink in, it is so soft.

Just love this picture of Tyler that Lisa took. My little beach boy

Another cute picture taken by Lisa

Elle of course playing in the sand.

The best Luau around. Beautiful views, good food and fun entertainment. They give unlimited drinks, so lava flows all around.

Josh didn't want to dress in the hawaiian attire

Elle after 2 days of taking medicine. She was still not herself. So sad.

Lisa and me walking around looking at all the hawaiian stuff.

Lisa is so good at taking pics

Hawaiian dancers

Elle lightened up when the food came around. It was really dark and the flash on the camera gave some light. But Elle was eating everything. She would reach back behind her without looking, grab the food and stuff it in her mouth. It was actually kind of gross.

She enjoyed her dessert.
Of course a Bladh family vacation couldn't be complete without both kids getting sick. We left on Wed and on Friday night Elle woke up with a fever and was crying. Josh went to the ABC store and bought some Tylenol. After taking it she threw up. The medicine seemed to be helping with the fever but she was still fussy and whinny. Finally on Sunday after church we decided to take her to the doctors. $275 later she had 2 ear infections and a throat infection. She had to take heavy medicine so there wouldn't be problems on the airplane. That night Tyler woke up with a major fever and threw up. We went through an entire bottle of tylenol that week on top of her prescriptions. Elle was getting better but we had to keep her out of the water as much as possible and she was unhappy almost the whole trip. On the airplane home I got a migraine and wanted someone to just shoot me. There was no where to go and they don't have any medicine on the airplane. Even though someone was pretty much sick the whole time we still had an amazing time.
