Our getaway

We just got back from a weekend cruise without the kids and it was so relaxing and fun. It definitely wasn't like a week cruise but hey it was without kids. We didn't even get off of the boat because when we arrived in Ensenada we looked out and decided that the ship was nicer. We pretty much layed out in the sun, ate, slept, and made some new friends. We were so nervous that we'd get put at a table with people we didn't want to talk to, but we ended up making friends with another couple and hung out with them almost the entire time. I forgot my makeup... my worst nightmare. I had this feeling I was going to do it and of course I did. So I bought some mascara on the ship and then one night I went to the gift shop and used their tester makeup. I know that sounds bad but we got so much sun that my face looked blotchy and I didn't want to spend $75 on cover up if I didn't like. If you've never been on a cruise or have only been on a weekend one; nothing compares to a week cruise. The ship, the food, the entertainment, and the people on the ship are much better. We are looking forward to our week one to Mexican Riviera in Sept. I think we still have one more cabin if anyone wants to go! Here's some pictures

Looks fun. I wish we could have gone. We just need all grandmas to stop working and we will be all set. =)

We went on that exact same cruise last year! It's the only one we've been on so far but we'll probably go on a longer one next year, we're excited for it!

So jealous- dang summer school! I've been looking into possibly going on a 5 night cruise at the end of this year. I wish we could go in Sept, but I just don't feel right about leaving Bruin in his first weeks of Kindergarten (not to mention leaving Hudson that long). Hope you all have a great time though.

Wow looks like fun! I wish Grace would take a bottle and we could go in September. We'll have to try a weekend cruise with you sometime, on our cruise it was so rocky I couldn't wait to get off of the boat.

Erika!!
It's been forever! What a beautifully relaxing trip that must have been!
Our little one is just turning 6 months and it's about time her parents let her stay with a sitter; I can't remember the last time I was only with my husband.
Alicia is getting married! And Heather is having a little one! There is so much to catch up on! Your family is ADORABLE!

The Lovely Bladh Family

Josh and Erika

For those who I have not seen for a long time I thought that I should write a little about our family. Josh and I were married Feb. 22,2003 and are as happy as can be...really! We have 2 kids, Tyler (3) and Elle (14 mos). We will have more but taking a break. We are hopefully less then 2 weeks away from moving to our brand spankin' new house in Corona. Josh is doing real estate loans and I am doing real estate. We feel that the Lord has blessed us so much to have a lovely family, a home (soon), and a career that we just love and find fascinating.
