Beach Camping

Sorry there is going to be a lot of pictures in this one since I haven't blogged in almost 2 months. The beginning of August we went beach camping with my side of the family and it was fun to be with everyone and of course be at the beach all day, but camping is not my thing anymore. I use to love it before I was married so I tried to think of the reasons I may not like it and here they are...
1.NO SLEEP - Have to live in a tent that isn't sound proof so every time a baby woke up, which was usually mine, I would jump out of my uncomfortable bed that always seemed dirty no matter how hard I tried to keep it clean, check to see if it was Elle. If it was her then I would try whatever I could to get her back to sleep if that means taking her in our truck for 4 hours just to get her back to sleep.
2.BATHROOM ARRANGEMENTS - Do I really have to go here! The bathrooms stink, the toilets are always filthy, good luck finding a bathroom with toilet paper especially when you need to use it in the middle of the night, there isn't any soap nor paper towels, the showers are quarter operated but you most likely won't get hot water, and you never feel clean even after taking your shower.
3. MEALS - The clean up stinks.
4. BABIES - Camping and babies don't go good together. They have nothing to do except lay, dig, and eat the dirt.
Even though this sounds bad I did have a good time but I need to remind myself so when next year rolls around I will remember that it's not a relaxing vacation.

Your blog is adorable. I will have to agree with you about camping and babies, they really just don't go together. It really is fun camping when someone else does all the work but the prep and the clean up are the pits.

The Lovely Bladh Family

Josh and Erika

For those who I have not seen for a long time I thought that I should write a little about our family. Josh and I were married Feb. 22,2003 and are as happy as can be...really! We have 2 kids, Tyler (3) and Elle (14 mos). We will have more but taking a break. We are hopefully less then 2 weeks away from moving to our brand spankin' new house in Corona. Josh is doing real estate loans and I am doing real estate. We feel that the Lord has blessed us so much to have a lovely family, a home (soon), and a career that we just love and find fascinating.
